These tools give GMT members the ability to improve interaction with reporters through a comprehensive online media contact database and through web tools that help build solid relationships with reporters. GMT’s tools also feature a gallery of more than 6,000 photos, media training content, and customizable web tools to assist members in their work with reporters, coalition members, and partner groups. Currently, GMT has more than 165 members comprising a wide range of budgets, scope of outreach, and size of staff. Since its launch in May 2000, GMT has provided services for more than 4,000 individuals in the environmental movement.
